Perfection
Kuf, the twentieth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, has the numeric value of one hundred. The life span of the eagle is one hundred years. Avraham (Abraham) was one hundred years at the birth of his son Yitzchak (Isaac).
In Kabbalah, the number ten is considered to be a number of perfection. Kuf represents a perfect square, ten times ten, the ten sefirot interincluded, the one hundred daily blessings. Kuf is a letter of perfect beauty.
Kuf is formed by a Resh and a Zayin. The Resh and Zayin create the words zeir, crown, and raz, mystery.
Kuf can be translated as monkey, to surround or touch, strength and in Aramaic: the eye of a needle. Monkeys represent the vanity and falsehood of the material world.
This letter teaches of the mission of the soul, to descend into the physical world and elevate spiritual sparks.
